There are so many options, how do you choose the right masking tape? It's a great question! It all depends on the purpose of the tape. Before we go into the various types of tape, let us first discuss the dimensions of masking tape.

Most people use either 1 or 1.5 inches of tape. To cover baseboards with roller splatter, use one-inch tape -which is minimal if you use the correct paint and the proper roller cover. These will be covered in another blog.
Let's first look at all of the options available.
1. Standard white masking tape.

Frog tape – Frog tape can also be used when you need a tight seal. This means that there is no paint underneath, and you have a straight line. As long as you apply it correctly.
