There is a pattern designed specifically for the mosaic, but you do not have to be limited to using the only mosaic pattern. If you find a pattern of stained glass, you can easily adapt to the mosaic.
The main difference between the mosaic pattern and a pattern for stained glass deals with the distance between the pieces of glass and the size of the individual pieces. When talking about glass, you may use dichroic glass squares for a royal effect.
Many pieces of the mosaic outdoors use. Because the temperature range that is outside the room, a mosaic made with big pieces of glass will crack over time. To avoid this, it will ensure a good glass sitting on the cement and no air bubbles under glass.
Another way to avoid cracks is to use small pieces of glass. The larger the piece of glass, the more opportunities there will be to crack in the future.
Another factor to consider is the amount of space between individual pieces of glass. Depending on the pattern that you are using, the distance between the glass pieces should not exceed 1/4 inch.
To change the pattern of stained glass into a mosaic pattern, you must first change the size to fit the size of your mosaic prints. Then cut pieces of individual patterns smaller 1/16 to 1/8. This will give you a distance of 1/8 to 1/4 inch.
