Types Of Loaders You Need To Know

Loaders are heavy construction equipment that are mainly used in construction companies to load different materials into other machineries such as trucks and haulers. Also, they help in lifting different types of other weights like soil, construction debris, asphalt, wood, raw minerals, recycled materials, and rocks. There are many companies that provide loader on offer in Ontario.

Types of Loaders

There are three main types of loaders commonly used in construction sites in Ontario; wheel loaders, skid loaders, and backhoe loaders. Each of the three has different features and uses. It is hence of great importance to understand all the three types of so as to be able to select the most appropriate one for your desired application.

1. Wheel loader

This is generally front end heavy loading equipment. The basic operation of this machine is digging up materials from the ground and dragging them to the dumping site. Different wheel loaders have varied buckets of sizes and stipulated operating weights.

2. Skid loader

The skid loader is also known as the skid steer loader. This is heavy lifting equipment that is normally fitted with lifting arms and other attachments for different types of construction applications.

3. Backhoe loader

The last of the three types is the backhoe loader. This is another popular engineering vehicle that is commonly used in construction sites in the industry. It is basically in the form of a tractor fitted with two loading buckets.

All three types of loaders are favorable for specific circumstances and weights. It is therefore important for constructors to use the most appropriate loaders for their intended purposes.
