If you have diabetes or have hypertension, suffer from altitude or travel sickness; make sure you do not participate in activities that will endanger your health and well-being. When traveling, make sure you only drink bottled water and don't eat anything that has bacteria.

Fresh fruit should always be washed and peeled before eating and should avoid fresh fruit juice. Road conditions on safari tours may not be too good, so you can feel aches and pains. Sunblock cream, sunglasses, and shade caps are very important.

Another important consideration is respecting local culture and customs. Indiscriminate photography of the Masai tribes and their customs, dressing in tight or minimal clothing in predominantly Muslim areas, etc. can ruin your vacation.

Take appropriate security precautions by not wearing expensive jewelry and watches, do not leave your money and valuables lying haphazardly, do not wear a waist bag or carry a handbag to hold your documents and money, or go alone on foreign streets because this can invite problem.
