Tips For Repairing Potholes

When you drive, it's important to be aware of the potential potholes in your roadway. Potholes can cause damage to your car and can also lead to a fall. When it comes to repairing potholes, there are a few things that you can do to make the process as quick and painless as possible.

1. Use a plunger: If you have a bucket or large container, use it to fill up with water and place it next to the hole. Plunge the plunger into the water, making sure to push down on the hole until it is full.

2. Cover with hot tar: If you don't have a plunger or bucket, you can use hot tar by pouring some onto a clean cloth or paper towel and placing it over the hole. Be sure to cover all sides of the hole so that water cannot get inside again.

3. Use a vacuum cleaner: If none of these methods work, try using a vacuum cleaner to suck up any debris around the hole and remove any rocks or chunks of concrete that may have fallen in. Make sure that you have enough room on either side of your vacuum cleaner's hose in order to avoid getting your vacuum cleaner stuck in between the rocks or concrete chunks.

4. Call a professional: If all of these methods fail, it may be time to call a professional. A qualified repairman can help you fix the hole quickly and cost-effectively, so don't hesitate to call them if you have trouble getting the job done yourself.
