The Beautiful Koh Phangan

Courtesy-traveltriangle

Koh Phangan is not that difficult to reach – a thirty-minute ride away from Koh Samui Island and, three and a half hours away from Surat Thani province by boat or cruise is the island of Koh Phangan. Apart from its full moon parties, there are still quite a few things to do here like the half-moon party, beach activities, watersports, restaurant hopping, and more. If you ask anybody at Koh Phangan where to visit, their first recommendation would be the Thong Sala night market which would be a foodie’s paradise. You get different varieties of food here including some great fried fish, sushi, noodles and more. It's famous for its seafood and a few insects. You could have dinner and drinks within two hundred baht's, and still have some money left over. The market is open till four in the morning, so you can visit late in the night as well after a night of partying.

There's also a hidden beach here called Chaloklum Beach which isn't famous among tourists, so it's pretty quiet and you can have a peaceful time bathing in sun sipping on some margaritas.

You can go sightseeing a few enchanting waterfalls that can be easily found like the Paradise waterfalls andThanPrawet waterfalls. At the end of the day you can sit and admire the beautiful sunset at Amsterdam bar. Enjoy some groovy music whilst sipping on a drink in the pool watching the sunset is heavenly

Koh Phangan is a must-visit when in Thailand and whilst at Koh Phangan come stay at the many Koh Phangan hostels to save some money that you can spend in Koh Phangan
