If you're looking for a day out with the family in the Mornington Peninsula, consider a visit to one of the area's hot springs. Here are a few things to pack: sunscreen, a towel, and some snacks.

All three have access to car parks, and each has its unique features. Megalong Hot Springs is known for its therapeutic sulfur-rich water, Glenelg for its bubbling cauldrons of steaming water, and Cranbourne for its cold mineral-rich pools.

Depending on the time of year you visit, each hot spring may be less crowded than the others. And if you're feeling adventurous, there are plenty of hikes available in the national park that will take you right to some of the springs.

The Journey to the Hot Springs

Planning a Mornington Peninsula Hot Spring day out with the family can be fun and exciting. Here are some ideas to get you started:

-Next, head to Royal Park near Mornington. This beautiful park has a variety of activities for all ages, including a playground, picnic areas, and a heated pool. The pool is perfect for a refreshing swim after a busy day.
